Mike Baker - Director

Having Had 24 years experience in the financial services industry, in particular 10 years plus in the mortgage industry Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the business.

Mike being a founding director of The Mortgage Ladder is enthusiastic and committed to development of the company whilst delivering first class advice to clients in person.

Mike has recently donated time to the local radio station Arrow FM whereby he gives one hour per month to explain the ever changing mortgage market to the population of Hastings, Eastbourne and surrounding areas.

On a personal note, Mike is interested in all areas of music.

Jessica Young - Director

Jessica is a co founder of The Mortgage Ladder and her main task initially, was implementing systems and procedures to ensure the smooth running of mortgage progressing through to completion and customer care.

Now that the progressing department is up and running, Jessica has qualified as an authorised Independent Mortgage Advisor.

Pauline Young - Office Manager

Pauline has a wealth of experience after being an office manage for over 20 years.

Her prime responsibility is the effective processing of all client applications, because of this, Pauline is an integral part of The Mortgage Ladder team.

Pauline enjoys reading and is very proud of her Irish roots, which often sees her visiting Ireland.

Adele Loft - Researcher

Adele has joined The Mortgage Ladder after spending much of her time working for various insurance companies in a mainly sales position.

Adele is now using her experience to research various lenders and insurance providers in order to assist our Advisors.

Adele has a young son which keeps her busy and also enjoys catching up with friends.

Carley Hale – Progressor

Carley joined us in July 2007 and has rapidly progressed from receptionist to work along side Pauline in our Administration unit in Robertsbridge. Carley is responsible for liaising with the clients, conveyancers and lenders and keeping everyone up to date on their applications.

Carley enjoys dancing and studied drama and dance before she entered the world of mortgages.
